If you haven’t got your peaches this year, boy are you ever missing out. This year’s crop is nothing short of phenomenal! Peach pie jam done today and the rest on deck for tomorrow. If you are interested, I know a gal who has some of the best in town. We meet at the gas station and exchange cash for peaches like we are gonna commit a felony.

On those days when life gets ridiculous, it's essential to take a deep breath, slow down, and let your heart guide you. What I had set out to do got put on the back burner or chucked in the “you know what” bucket. Yesterday, I got my mojo back in the simple acts of harvesting, canning, and picking flowers for myself, reminding me of the beauty in slowing down.
